Account Executive B2B SaaS / New Business (m/w/d)

Your role:
As toern’s first sales hire, you’ll help build our sales team and have a direct impact on our growth. As a full-cycle account executive, you’ll open doors that others don’t even think of and turn leads into paying customers.

Responsibilities
- You’ll be responsible for the entire sales cycle—from initial contact to closing the deal
- You’ll identify and contact relevant Shopify stores
- You’ll independently set up outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls, Instagram) and qualify inbound leads based on sales readiness
- You’ll not only maintain our CRM (HubSpot) but also use it to drive AI-powered sales
- You’ll prepare for trade shows, conduct on-site customer meetings, and follow up to close leads
- You’ll not only manage the sales pipeline but also listen for customer feedback during demo calls and relay it directly to the dev team
Qualification
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (B2B/SaaS/e-commerce preferred)
- You’re a hunter, not a manager
- You enjoy taking full responsibility and want to exceed your goals
- You pick up the phone, reach out to people, and are always finding new ways to proactively open up the market step by step—in short: communication is your strength
- You listen, understand the person you’re talking to, and ask questions to truly grasp their perspective
- Organized, self-motivated, independent, and reliable—thorough preparation and frequent follow-ups are second nature to you
- Excellent German and English skills
